As the temperatures begin to get cooler, Australian rockers AC/DC are heading north this spring for their Power Up tour.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will perform at some of the biggest stadiums in the United States with a stop in British Columbia.
The Power Up tour is a continuation of the tour that started last year in Europe.
Since their beginning on New Year’s Eve in 1973, AC/DC has been around the world numerous times and sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Last year their “Back in Black” album was certified the best selling album by any band with 50 million in sales. Last year the RIAA – Recording Industry Association of America – certified the album 27 times platinum – which also gives them Diamond status for selling at least 10 million copies in the Untied States. It puts the album third in all time sales behind The Eagles and Michael Jackson.
