As of December 10, 2024, “Last Christmas” has been certified seven times platinum for selling seven million copies in the United States alone.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of “Last Christmas”, George Michael Entertainment and Sony Music have released a special limited edition “Last Christmas” 40th Anniversary EP. The EP is available on vinyl, CD, and as a digital download.
The EP features four version of “Last Christmas” – the original song, a “pudding mix”, a live performance, and an instrumental version of the song.
“WHAM!: Last Christmas Unwrapped” is a new special telling the story of how the duo turned the song into a seasonal phenomenon. U.S. fans can access the special via Roku.
