For the first time in college football history, there is a full playoff with 12 teams.
On Saturday, conferences held their championship games, assuring the winners of a playoff spot; but the big question remains “who is in the playoffs and will be left out?” The playoff committee will decide the 12 teams; but how will they decide? Is it the record, the strength of schedule, or the brand? Could it be a combination of all three???
Their first year as a member of the Big 10, the Oregon Ducks are the only undefeated team in rankings.
The top four get a first round bye, all five conference champions are in the playoffs, and the seven remaining spots are decided on the rankings.
The first round of the playoffs will be home games for the teams ranked five to eight.
And the results are in…
