I have been thinking about this off and on all day and I am not sure that I can come up with five…at least in my own opinion.
People who have been the recipients of my crocheted blankets all rant about how much they like them and what a good job I have done. So, I guess that would mean I am good at it. And the person who picks up the hats I make for donations talks about how good they are and marvels at my work; so I guess that means I’m good at that too.
I have been a journalist for over 30 years, so I guess that means I have done something right. Some of my former editors have told that I was a very good writer, so I guess that means I am good at that. I Just checked my total page views and I am at 77,000 and there are over six thousand articles on my website. So, I guess that means I am doing something right.
I often use my own photos in my work but other than remarking hoe pretty the scene is, I haven’t really heard anything about my work.
Come Christmas people are waiting eagerly to receive my hand made soap, but I’m not sure if it’s because they really like the soap or do I really do that good of a job on it?
One thing I know I’m pretty good at is reading. I read every day. For the past three years I have read at least 50 books each year – most of them over 400 pages in length. I greatly enjoy my Kindle and never leave home without it. Have a few minutes??? Pull out the Kindle and read!
While I am not sure how good I am at it, I do enjoy sewing and painting. And music of course. But I have a ways to be really good at that.
