It never fails on any day following an NFL game during the season, social media warriors flood the internet with how this team was cheated, that team got away with (whatever), or that guy is favoured and never gets a penalty or fined.

This season the NFL has been clamping down on certain moves and gestures; citing a violation of the NFL Rulebook.

For the second time this season, the NFL has fined Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams for his touchdown celebration that was a throwback tribute to Marshawn Lynch who himself was fined when he made a backwards dive and grabbing his crotch.

The NFL fined Williams $19,697 for “unsportsman like conduct (Obscene gestures)”.

The officials did not throw the penalty flag for the move during the game.

Earlier in the season, the NFL fined Williams $14,069 after he dunked a football over the gold posts to celebrate a 70 yard run for a touchdown.

In their game against the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs player Noah Gray scored a touchdown.  Quarterback Patrick Mahomes aimed the time honoured gesture of aiming his fingers like a gun as part of the celebration.  Citing the move as a violent gesture and unsportsman like conduct; Mahomes was fined $14,069.
