It’s the biggest night in Country Music when Nashville gathers for the annual CMA Awards presented by the Country Music Association.

In a special performance Post Malone and Chris Stapleton take the stage for a performance of “California Sober”.

Luke Bryan and Petyon Manning return to host the show but this time they are joined by the Bell Bottom queen Lainey Wilson in her CMA hosting debut.

Luke Bryan announced that this year there are 31 first time nominees.

The first award of the night was for Single of the Year and went to Chris Stapleton for “White Horse”.  This is his third Single of the Year award.

Megan Maroney performs “Am I Okay?”.

Country music newcomer Shaboozey performs his smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”.

The award for Song of the Year went to Chris Stapleton and Dan Wilson for writing “White Horse”.

Ella Langley and Riley Green give a performance.

Thomas Rhett and Teddy Swims join forces for a special performance.

Luke Combs performs his hit song from the movie “Twisters”.

The award for Best New Artist went to Megan Maroney.

Keslea Ballerini and Noah Kahn perform “Cowboys Cry Too”.

Cody Johnson performs and is joined on stage by Carrie Underwood.

Chris Stapleton returns to the stage for a performance and is joined by his wife Morgan.

Kasey Musgraves performs.

Country Music Hall of Famers the Oak Ridge Boys presented the award for Vocal Group of the Year to Old Dominion.  This is their seventh win in this category.

Jelly Roll joins Country legends Brooks and Dunn for a performance.

Post Malone returns to the stage for a performance.

The award for Album of the Year went to Cody Johnson for “Leather”.  This is his first Album of the Year award.

CMA Award co-host Lainey Willson gives a performance.

Bailey Zimmerman takes that stage to perform.

The award for Vocal Duo of the Year went to Brooks and Dunn.  This is their 15th Vocal Duo of the Year win!

Lainey Wilson kicks off the tribute to Country Music legend George Strait – the 2024 Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.  Jeanny Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCullum, Chris Stapleton, and Geroge Strait himself also perform.  

Ashley McBryde performs the music of Kris Kristofferson.

World Series MVP Freddie Freeman joins Little Big town to present the award for Male Vocalist of the Year to Chris Stapleton.  This is his eighth win for Male Vocalist of the Year.

Co-host Luke Bryan performs.

Eric Church performs “Darkest Hour” – a song he donating the proceeds to Hurricane relief.

Olympic gymnastic legend Simone Biles presents the Female Vocalist of the Year Award to Lainey Wilson.  This is her third award win in this category.

Jelly Roll returns to the stage and is joined by Keith Urban for a performance of “Lier”.

Dierks Bently performs the Tom Petty hit “American Girl” and is joined by American Girls Molly Tuttle, Sierra Dawn Hull, and Bronwyn Hynes.

It’s the biggest award of the night and the Entertainer of the Year Award goes to Morgan Wallen.  Wallen was not in attendance.
