Even before the end of the 2023 season, Dale Earnhardt Jr announced that after NBC failed to renew his contract, he would be taking the 2024 season off. In May he announced that he would be moving over to TNT and Amazon Prime for the 2025 season.
On November 18, TNT announced who Jr’s new booth partners will be when Adam Alexander and Steve Letart join the broadcast crew.
Adam Alexander has been a part of the Craftsman Truck Series for FOX Sports.
Steve Letarte has been a part of the NBC Cup Series crew alongside Jeff Burton and Leigh Diffey.
Amazon Prime will take over broadcast duties from the Coca Cola 600 to Mexico City; while TNT will take over for five races beginning with the summer race in Atlanta.
And for the first time, NASCAR will feature an in season tournament worth $1 million.
With four networks broadcasting races next season, the broadcast booth is going to look very different beginning with 2025 with some new and old faces.
