For some racers it doesn’t matter what kind of car it is; as long as it has four wheels and a steering wheel they are out on the track.  Drivers like Stewart Friesen, Kyle Larson, and Tony Stewart simply love to drive and will drive every night of the week if they can.

While he isn’t quite as avid when it comes to racing, Kyle Busch loves to drive.  His over 200 wins across all three racing series is proof enough of that.

But next January the two time Cup Series champion will make his debut in the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.

The Chili Nationals will run from January 13 to 18 at the SageNet Center and feature over 300 drivers running numerous heat races.  Busch is not the first NASCAR driver to race in the Chili Bowl; previous drivers include Christopher Bell, Tony Stewart, and Kyle Larson.

Busch spoke on running the Chili Bowl saying, “the Cup Season may be over, but the Racing season is still in full swing with the biggest events on dirt taking place over the next couple of months. The Chili Bowl is a legendary event and has always been on my wish-list. To be able to compete there, and then alongside my son Brexton at the Tulsa Shootout, is making this year one to remember.”

But before that Busch will join his nine year old son Brexton in the Tulsa Shootout December 31 to January 4.
