In the final penalty report of the 2024 season, NASCAR handed down another drivers misconduct penalty. During the championship race at Phoenix Raceway Saturday afternoon Stefan Parsons and Anthony Alfredo made contact that resulted in Alfredo brushing against the wall.
Alfredo retaliated in the dogleg by sending Parsons into the wall and out of the race.
Citing Sections 4.4B of the rule book, NASCAR has fined Our Motorsports driver Anthony Alfredo $25,000 and docked him 25 driver points. The loss of points will not affect Alfredo’s position in the points standings.
On lap 156 Anthony Alfredo hit the wall himself with a flat tire; putting him out of the race.
