New shows on Broadway are proving to be a hit. In its first full week of previews “Death Becomes Her”, has entered the Million Dollar Club and since crossing the pond, “Sunset Boulevard” is shoring up to be a big hit. The musical not only made it into the Million Dollar Club; but is in the top five for the second week in a row.
While nearly half of the 36 productions on currently running on Broadway made it in the 90 percent club; just 12 of them are a part of the Million Dollar Club this week with “Wicked” the only show topping the $2 million mark.
