What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

I can’t say that I have one favourite hobby or pastime….I have a number of them. It kind of depends on my mood and how much time I have.

Reading is always on the list. While I read every night when I go to bed; I will pull out the Kindle (or the Kindle app) whenever I have a little time. Waiting in the checkout line or waiting for someone; out comes the Kindle. Doing the laundry, Kindle time!

I will also launch the app on my iPad when I am eating. I really hate just sitting and doing nothing.

If I am watching TV or even working on a race, I get out the crocheting because it is something I can do without looking. It’s amazing the amount of work I can get done while watching the TV.

When I have the time, there are a number of crafty and art things I like to do. I like to paint, do some sewing, making books, and even working with polymer clay. I enjoy playing my guitar but it seems that life keeps getting in the way and every time I get somewhere, I end up having. to stop for a while and by time I get back to it, I end up starting over…which is a bit frustrating.

A thing that is more than a hobby for me is photography. But that is something that requires me to leave home; unlike the other activities.

But, one thing is for sure, it is a very rare occasion indeed for me NOT to be doing SOMETHING.
