This past week a total 32 productions ran across the theatres of Broadway.  And while the overall numbers were up; just nine productions made it into the Million Dollar Club.

“Oh, Mary!” continued its record winning ways last week by breaking the box office record for the seventh week in a row.

“Cabaret” fell out of the Million Dollar Club last week, but tickets are still being comped to press members with the addition of Adam Lambert and Auli’I Cravalho.  The comps will continue through this week.

The newest addition to the list of productions is a revival of “Romeo + Juliet” which brought in nearly half a million dollars in just three performances.

Travelling across the pond from the West End to Broadway, “Sunset Boulevard” gave just one preview performance last week, but very well could rank in the top five with a full week of performances.

The usual suspects of “Wicked”, “The Lion King”, “Hamilton”, and “The Outsiders” continue to occupy the top five.

The Million Dollar Club:
“Wicked”
“The Lion King”
“Hamilton”
“The Outsiders”
“MJ The Musical”
“Oh, Mary!”
“Hell’s Kitchen”

Overall, attendance on Broadway was at 86 percent but 14 of the 32 productions currently running made it into the 90 percent club with five of them reaching at least 100 percent capacity.  Two even topped the 100 percent mark.
