Country Music Hall of Fame performer Rany Travis suffered a stroke in 2013 and has been unable to perform. However, he has planned a tour for next year where he will be on stage with his wife Mary. Special guest James Dupre will be performing Travis’ music with the band in the More Life Tour. The event will also feature video highlights from Travis’ long career. Dupre and Travis’ original band members will be performing music that spans Travis’ musical career.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning September 20 at 10am local time.
Randy Travis spoke on the upcoming tour saying, “The More Life Tour celebrates something so much more than a musical moment in time-it’s a gift to me to spend time with my fans, and my band, as James Dupre perfectly presents the songs that best define my career. We look forward to seeing you all somewhere along the way.”
James Dupre added, “I’m thrilled and honored to hit the road again with my hero and friend, Randy Travis. I’m looking forward to meeting and singing along with all the Randy Travis fans in 2025.”
