November 5 is a momentous date for U.S. citizens – it is the day Americans will vote for the next President of the United States. The date is not a federal holiday, but much of Broadway is making it one…at least on the “Great White Way”.
Monday is the one day of the week that Broadway is normally “dark” with no shows; giving cast, crew, and performers a day to rest and take care of business.
On Tuesday, November 5 many of the shows on Broadway will be “dark” with some of them choosing instead to run on Monday, November 4.
