In the United States, the RIAA – Recording Industry Association of America awards artists for sales of singles and albums. Among those rewards is the Diamond Album given to artists who have reached 10 million copies sold.
Back together again and touring, Hootie and the Blowfish has just been awarded a Double Diamond Award for their album “Cracked Rear Window” which has sold over 22 million copies! This ranks the band’s debut album among the top 10 albums in sales.
Hootie and the Blowfish have reunited and are currently on tour entertaining audiences around the country.
