NASCAR and NHRA team owner, Hall of Fame driver, and Top Fuel dragster Tony Stewart met his wife to be Leah Pruett just as the Covid pandemic hit; throwing the pair together in a lockdown situation.
They were married shortly thereafter, and the NASCAR Hall of Famer took an interest in something else…drag racing.
This season Leah announced that she was taking some time off to concentrate on another endeavour…having a baby!
Stewart has taken over the driving duties of Pruett’s dragster while she concentrates on expanding the family.
Earlier this week the Stewarts announced that Leah is pregnant and are looking at a delivery in November.
Stewart is also the owner of Tony Stewart Racing and the dirt track at Eldora Speedway.
