During the post race inspection after the Sci Aps 200 in the Xfinity Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, it was discovered that Matt DiBenedetto’s number 38 RSS Racing car had three lug nuts in the right rear tire improperly secured.
There are five lug nuts on each tire to keep it secured to the axle; three of the five on one tire of DiBenedetto’s car were not properly tightened.
As a result of the infraction DiBenedetto’s 17th place finish has been disqualified and he is listed as the last place driver in 38th place where he will earn only one point for the race.
Christopher Bell won his fourth win in the Xfinity Series at Loudon in the overtime finish.
