In this week’s penalty report from NASCAR, only two Xfinity Series teams were charged with an infraction.
The number 21 Richard Childress Racing car driven by Austin Hill and the Sci Aps number 39 car driven by Ryan Sieg were each found to have a single lug nut improperly secured during the Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 250 post race inspection at Sonoma Raceway.
As a result of the infractions, crew chiefs Andy Street for Hill and Matt Noyce for Sieg have each been fined $5,000.
This weekend the Xfinity and Cup Series will make a return to Iowa Speedway as NBC takes over the broadcasting duties.
