They burst on the music scene as children; 20 years later Hanson marks the release of their album “Underneath” with an expanded deluxe edition and a concert tour.

On October 4 “Underneath: Complete” will include new music, collaborations, rare tracks, and bootleg recordings.  Collaborations include songs with Carole King, Glenn Ballard, and Matthew Sweet.

Taylor Hanson spoke on the original “Underneath” album saying, “’Underneath’ represented a bold new chapter for the band which sparked a powerful connection between our band and fans around the world, who helped re-define a new generation of independent music releases.”

Brother Isaac added, “this album is very personal to us and we are really inspired by the fresh recording of ‘Penny and Me’, which we feel brings even deeper emotional weight to this song abut the power of music and connection.”  A new video version of “Penny and Me” is available with Taylor’s daughter Penelope as Penny.
