With less than two weeks remaining before the annual Tony Awards, the top nominated musical “Hell’s Kitchen” continues to see bigger numbers and has reached the top five in the Million Dollar Club. Topping $2 million at the box office “The Lion King” continues to top the list; “Wicked”, “Hamilton”, and “Cabaret” round out the top five.
But overall, the numbers were down a bit this week across the board; as were the percentage of seats filled in the theatres. Just 13 of the 35 shows currently running made it into the Million Dollar Club last week.
