“Lempicka” closed out the season last week and theatre fans flocked to see the production and brought in over half a million dollars and filled 97 percent of the seats.

But not surprising “The Lion King” topped the list on the Million Dollar Club with a draw of over $2 million. “Cabaret”, “Hamilton”, “Wicked” and “Merrily We Roll Along” rounded out the top five.  “Merrily” is sure to stay near the top with a closure date in July.

A total of 15 of the 35 productions currently running made it in the Million Dollar Club this week.

In the 90 percent club last week 25 of the 35 productions made it into the club with five of them reaching at least 100 percent.  One of the productions even topped 100 percent at 103.2.
