BET revealed the nominees for their annual awards presentation on May 16. Canadian artist Drake tops the list of nominees with seven, including Album of the Year.
American female artist Nicki Minaj came in second with six nominations; also competing for Album of the Year.
Victoria Monet, Beyonce, Usher, 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Tyla also earned multiple nominations.
The gala event will be held in Los Angeles on June 30. The BET Awards honours the best in music, film, acting, and sports.
Victoria Monet, Sexyy Red, Muni Long, Latto, Glorilla, and Shaboozey are all scheduled to perform during the festivities.
