Under the new NASCAR broadcasting agreement TNT is joining the musical chairs of channels for watching a Cup Series race.

On May 7 TNT has revealed the first person who will be a part of the crew – former driver and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Beginning with the 2025 racing season FOX, TNT, Amazon, Warner Bros. Discovery, and NBC will be sharing the Cup Series broadcst duties.  FOX Sports1 will continue to broadcast the Truck Series races; while the CW Network is becoming the exclusive broadcasting network for the Xfinity Series.

Earnhardt will continue to provide the same service he did while working for NBC as an analyst and commentator.  Along with the five race schedule, Earnhardt will be working with Bleacher Report for a series of video interviews and ride alongs.

Earnhardt spoke on joining TNT via a network release saying, “it is such an exciting time to welcome TNT Sports back to NASCAR.  I remember watching the races on TNT back in the day, and it’s so nostalgic to see them return to the sport and to be a part of their team. I’m looking forward to joining their team and also getting the chance to work with Bleacher Report creating content that our fans will enjoy.”

More information on programming and personalities will be forthcoming in the next few months.

Along with five races, Amazon Prime video will broadcast most of the practice and qualifying sessions for the first half of the season; with the exception of the Clash, All Star race, the Duels at Daytona, and the Daytona 500.

Director of Global Live Sports Production, Prime Video Jared Stacey spoke on Earnhardt joining the broadcast crew saying, “we are thrilled to welcome Dale as an official member of the Amazon family, and build our NASCAR coverage around him.  One of the most beloved figures in racing history, Dale has an unrivaled passion for the sport. We are so excited for him to connect with NASCAR fans next season on Prime Video.”
