Last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, it was a weekend filled with drama, photo finishes, overtime wins, and legends.

The Cup Series race included a record tying 14 caution flags – 12 of them due to crashes on the track.

Seven time champion and Hall of Fame driver Jimmie Johnson drove his number 84 car in the race but got off to a rough start after crashing in practice.

While the residents of Dawsonville, Georgia were blaring the SI-REEN, Chase Elliott was making a “Polish victory lap” in honour of Alan Kulwiki after a double overtime finish.  He becomes the seventh different driver to win a race this season.

The Xfinity Series ended with the second closest finish with a time of .002 seconds (mere inches) for a first win of the season.

And in the Truck Series race on Friday night to kick off the triple header weekend, the winningest driver in NASCAR notched another win for a total of 66 in the Truck Series and 231 overall.

While he finished the race back in the field, Kyle Larson holds on to the points lead with 335 with Martin Truex Jr and Denny Hamlin holding on to their top three standings.
