The Xfinity Series does a little Saturday night racing with the Dude Wipes 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

There are 39 drivers at Martinsville to fill 38 spots including Truck Series drivers Corey Heim and Taylor Gray.  Xfinity Series regular Sammy Smith will also be doing double duty driving in the Truck and Xfinity Series race this week.

The drivers are divided into two groups for practice.  Martinsville is so small that all of the cars on the track at one time for practice is too crowded learn about the car or the track.

Martinsville is the first of four Dash-4-Cash races with Parker Kligerman, Chandler Smith, Jesse Love, and Aric Almirola will compete for the $100,000 prize.

Carson Kvapil is making his Xfinity Series debut in the JR Motorsports number 88 car.

Sheldon Creed tops the leaderboard after Group A practice.

Group B driver AJ Allmendinger leads all of the cars in practice.

Ryan Vargas is the first driver on the track to make a qualifying run and posted a time of 20.675 seconds.

Akinori Ogata did not make a qualifying run.

Making his Xfinity Series debut Carson Kvapil posted the first time under 20 seconds with 19.874 seconds.

The track record is 19.694 seconds set by Ty Gibbs and Brandon Jones just tied the record down to the thousandth of a second.

Brandon Jones reveals that they have a cracked brake rotor that must be replaced.  Despite his record tying qualifying time, he may have to start the race from the back of the field.

Chandler Smith will not make a qualifying run after his practice session crash.  The crew is taking the car back to the shop to make repairs.

JR Motorsports driver Brandon Jones wins the pole with a time of 19.694 seconds.  Cole Custer will start alongside on the front row.

As Brandon Jones noted after qualifying on Friday, he will have to start the race from the back of the field despite winning the pole after the crew had to repair a brake rotor.  Teammates Justin Allgaier and Sammy Smith will also be starting the race form the back of the field; also due to brake rotor changes.  Leland Honeyman and Ryan Ellis are also starting the race from the back of the field.

Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric are joining Adam Alexander in the FOX Sports broadcast booth for tonight’s race.

Stages one and two of the race are 60 laps each with stage three lasting 130 laps for a total of 250 laps.  The drivers can run 110 to 120 laps on a single load of fuel.

With Brandon Jones moving to the back of the field, Cole Custer becomes the control car and gets out in front of Sheldon Creed for the lead.

The top five are Cole Custer, Sheldon Creed, Jeb Burton, Aric Almirola, and Anthony Alfredo.

Lap four, Justin Allgaier has already moved up to 30th place.

Lap five, Cole Custer has a quarter of a second lead on Sheldon Creed; Jeb Burton, Aric Almirola, and Anthony Alfredo round out the top five.

The first caution flag of the race comes out on lap nine when Dexter Bean spins out after a three wide battle with Garrett Smithley and Sammy Smith.

The three JR Motorsports drivers who started at the back are now in 23rd, 25th, and 26th – Brandon Jones, Sammy Smith, and Justin Allgaier.

Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 14from the inside lane and holds on to the lead.

Lap 15, the top five are Cole Custer, Aric Almirola, Sheldon Creed, Jeb Burton, and Sam Mayer.

Lap 19, Cole Custer has pulled out to a half second lead on Aric Almirola; Sheldon Creed, Jeb Burton, and Sam Mayer round out the top five.

Lap 25, Sammy Smith, Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, and Chandler Smith have all moved into the low 20’s after starting the race from the back of the field.

Lap 27, Aric Almirola battles with Cole Custer for the lead.  Lap 28, Aric Almirola is the new leader.

Lap 32, Aric Almirola has a lead of over half a second on Cole Custer; Sheldon Creed, Sam Mayer, and Jeb Burton round out the top five.

Lap 35, Chandler Smith is just outside the top 20 in 21st.

Hailie Deegan brings and Dawson Cram bring out the second caution flag of the race on lap 36 when they spin out.  Brenna Poole was also involved.  Kyle Weatherman got a big banged up trying to avoid the wreck.  Deegen squeezed Poole down against the curb.

Several of the drivers come down pit road including Brandon Jones and Justin Allgaier to flip the stage.

Lap 51, Aric Almirola has a lead of nearly half a second on Sheldon Creed; Cole Custer, Sam Mayer, and AJ Allmendinger round out the top five.

Akinori Ogata is off the track with 35 cars on the lead lap.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Aric Almirola wins the race off of pit road; but not all of the drivers made a pit stop.

Riley Herbst was charged with an uncontrolled tire during his pit stop.

Parker Kligerman was caught speeding on pit road.

After staying out on the track, Sam Mayer leads the race and will bring the field to green with teammates Sammy Smith, Justin Allgaier, and Brandon Jones on lap 71.  There is a big pile up on the restart after Brandon Jones missed a shift.

NASCAR has red flagged the race.

Austin Hill, Logan Bearden, Hailie Deegan, AJ Allmendinger, Corey Heim, Parker Retzlaff, Leland Honeyman, Anthony Alfredo, Dexter Bean, Kyle Weatherman, and Jeremy Clements were all involved.

Brandon Jones reported that he thought he lost fourth gear. 

After a red flag condition of nearly 10 minutes, NASCAR displays the yellow flag and the cars are moving once again.

Austin Hill, Kyle Weatherman, Corey Heim, Parker Retzlaff, and AJ Allmendinger are all out of the race after the crash.

Sammy Smith brings the field down for the green flag restart with Sam Mayer alongside on lap 81 with Sammy Smith getting out in front for the lead.

Sam Mayer takes the lead just before the tenth caution of the night comes out for a wreck.  Jeb Burton, Jeremy Clements, Matt DiBenedetto, Myatt Snider, and Kyle Sieg were all involved.

The race goes into overtime.

Aric Almirola wins the race and the $100,000 prize under caution after a wreck on the track.  Riley Herbst spins out and backs it into the wall.

Sam Mayer, Chandler Smith, Justin Allgaier, and Sheldon Creed will be competing for the $100,000 prize next week.  Aric Almirola is not scheduled to race next week.
