The Alternative Rock band Violent Femmes has a tour planned this summer; but it isn’t just any tour.  While it is not unusual these days for a band to perform one of their albums in total in celebration of an anniversary; the Violent Femmes will be performing TWO of their albums – the self-titled debut album and their second album “Hallowed Ground”.

The shows will begin with “Hallowed Ground” and after an intermission, they will perform the debut album plus some favourites.

Lead singer and guitarist Gordon Gano penned the songs for both albums…while he was still in high school!  He actually penned the songs that ended up on “Hallowed Ground” first but the band chose to record some “upbeat songs” first.
