The Neil Diamond musical “A Beautiful Noise” is the latest Broadway production to announce a closing date.  The musical opened in 2022 and has announced a June 30 closing.

But it will not be the end of the musical; with a North American tour planned for the fall.

When the production first opened it ran 35 previews.  By the time it closes in June, it will have played a total of 657 regular performances.

“A Beautiful Noise” producer Ken Davenport spoke on the musical saying, “Neil’s music has brought unadulterated joy to billions of people across the world.  Everyone at ‘A Beautiful Noise’ is proud to say that we had a small hand in telling his inspiring life story on Broadway and sharing in that jubilation with our audiences.  As the North American tour prepares to launch this fall, I look forward to ‘A Beautiful Noise’ spreading the love to countless others.”

Will Swenson originated the role of a young Neil Diamond; last year “American Idol” winner Nick Fradiani took over the role.

The musical is a biographical depiction of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Diamond from his early days in Brooklyn to rock icon stardom that includes his music “Sweet Caroline”, “America”, and “Cracklin’ Rosie”.
