Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Pearl Jam have announced a new album coming out; and it will be followed by a tour.

Their 12th album, “Dark Matter” is set for an April 19 release.  The first single…and title track…is available now.

The tour begins in May.

At an album preview performance on January 31 at the Troubadour Club, Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder proclaimed it, “no hyperbole, I think this is our best work.”
