I am not one to play sports…but I grew up watching football and baseball with my Dad. My brother told me once that he liked talking to me because we could talk sports…and we do; especially those that his boys play.
When I was young, there was no cable TV, but my Dad could have a game on every channel and know what was happening on every one of them. And for good measure, sometimes he would have one or two on the radio. It drove my mother crazy; but I learned about the game of football and baseball. I was barely in my teens when I learned how to score a baseball game from a parent in the stands at one of my brother’s Little League games.
In college I was an avid baseball fan and used to keep score during the games. People around me would always ask about how players did in their earlier at bats.
After a conversation with a friend about camera shots and angles, I became interested in NASCAR racing. I know people who say that it is Lwatching cars go around a circle, but it is much more than that. What is boring is when one driver is so far ahead of the others, that their is no action or doubt as to who the winner might be.
But, racing is much more than going in circles; there are road course races, and even a street race now.
My brother has children of his own now and I have followed them. My brother calls me their biggest fan. One played football in college and a short time as a pro. He was a linebacker and when he hit an opponent, they knew it.
His brother was a member of Team USA in boxing and has since turned pro. I don’t care for such violent sports but I will watch him and follow his career. His record is 10 and 0 – eight of them by technical knock out, one knock out, and one by a majority decision. Up until the 10 round decision fight, he had never gotten past the third round.

Basketball and hockey somewhat baffle me; because I don’t know the rules of the game and cricket totally confuses me. When it comes to Cricket, I am totally clueless.

I just love football i don’t know why
