With less than a week before the biggest night in music – the Grammy Awards – the Recording Academy continues to add to the list of performers.

The latest addition to the list is Folk music icon Joni Mitchell!  The nine time Grammy Award winners was named the MusiCares Person of the Year in 2022 and has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy; but she has never performed on the Grammy stage…until now.

she has been nominated in the Best Folk Album category for her album “Joni Mitchell at Newport” Live.

Mitchell will be joining previously announced performers Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, and U2 at the gala event from Los Angeles on February 4 and hosted by Trevor Noah.  U2 will be performing live from their Las Vegas residency at the Sphere.
