The Jazz virtuoso group Spyro Gyra are celebrating 50 years of making music.  Jay Beckenstein created the band as “something that was just for fun” and as a way to wile away the long cold winter nights in their home town of Buffalo, New York.  The band began as the Tuesday Night Jazz Jam.

Fifty years, 30 albums, and 10,000 concerts across six continents later, the band is launching their 50th Anniversary tour that includes a stop in their home town.
