Angela Bassett and Jered Leto presented the first award of the night for Best Female Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture to Da’Vine Joy Randolph for her role in “The Holdovers”. This was her first ever Golden Globe nomination and win.
Angela and Jered also presented the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture to Robert Downey Jr for his role in “Oppenheimer”.
The award for Female Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Made for TV Movie goes to Ali Wong for her role in “BEEF”. This is her first nomination and win.
The award for Male Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Made for TV Movie went to Steven Yeun for his role in “BEEF”. This is his first nomination and win.
The award for Best Female Supporting Actress in a TV Series went to Eliabeth Debicki for her role as Princess Diana in “The Crown”. This is her first win.
The award for Best Supporting Actor in TV Series went to Matthew Macfadyen for his role in “Succession”. This is his first nomination and win.
Members of the cast from “Spider Man: Across the Spider Verse” presented the award for Best Screenplay of a Motion Picture to Justine Triet and Arthur Harari for “Anatomy of a Fall”. This is their first nomination and win.
The award for Best Male Actor is a Comedy or Musical Television Series went to Jeremy Allen White for his role in “The Bear”.
For the first time ever, the Golden Globes presents an award for Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy goes to Ricky Gervais. Gervais was not in attendance at the ceremonies.
Cast members from “Ghost” presented the award for Best Non English Motion Picture to the French film “Anatomy of a Fall”.
Golden Globe winners Kevin Costner and American Ferrera presented the award Best Female Actress in a Comedy or Musical Television Series to Ayo Edebiri for her role in “The Bear”.
They also presented the award for the Best Male Actor in a Drama Television Series to Kieran Culkin for his role in “Succession”. This is his first win.
The award for Best Animated Motion Picture went to “The Boy and the Heron”. The producers of the film were not in attendance.
Matt Damon and Ben Afleck presented the award for Best Direction in a Motion Picture to Christopher Nolen for “Oppenheimer”. This is his first win.
The award for Best Female Actress in Comedy or Musical Motion Picture went to Emma Stone for her role in “Poor Things”.
The award for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture Drama went to Cillian Murphy for his role in “Oppenheimer”. This is his first win.
Andra Day and Jon Batiste presented the award for Best Motion Picture Original Score to Ludwig Goranson for “Oppenheimer”.
The award for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture went to Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell for “What Was I Made For” form “Barbie”.
Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamil presented the inaugural award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement to “Barbie”.
The award for Best Limited or Anthology Series or Made for TV Movie went to “BEEF”.
The award for Best Comedy or Musical Television Series went to “The Bear”.
