The hard rocking band Iron Maiden may not have cracked the secret of getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but they have learned the secret of selling out auditoriums and stadiums at a record setting pace.

The rockers are set to launch Ed Force One next September for a big tour.  The concert on November 24 in Bogota set a record when it sold out in just 21 minutes!  With the 42,000 seats going so quickly, it is the first time in Columbian history that a venue sold out so quickly and so early.

Managing Director of Move Concerts Colombia ,” Alfredo Villaveces spoke on the record via press release saying, “we all expected strong sales given the long wait since they last performed here, which was on March 20, 2011, but never in our wildest dreams did we think it would blow out in 21 minutes and smash sales records.  And if we factor in the fact we went up so far ahead of the show date – something no other artist had done here – it is truly amazing.”
