On November 18, Billboard Magazine held their annual Music Awards presentation.  After topping the list of nominations Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen also topped the list of winners.

Wallen led the way with eleven awards with Swift taking home 10.  Drake, Zach Bryan, SZA, 21 Savage, Bad Bunny, Beyonce, and Miley Cyrus also garnered multiple award wins.

Morgan Wallen, Karol G, Peso Pluma, David Guetta, Bebe Rexha, NewJeans, and Stray Kids all performed during the night; capped off by a pre-recorded performance of “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey.  The gala event was hosted by Marriott Bonvoy.

With 29 Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift has the most awards by any female performer.  Drake has the overall title with 33.

Winners of the BBMA’s are determined by Billboard chart performance metrics – radio air-play, streaming, and sales.

Several new awards were added this year for a total of 69.
