The Hollywood strikes are over and everyone is working to get back to normal; including setting schedules and rescheduling postponed events.

The first big event will be the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards which were originally set for June 16 has been rescheduled for December 15.  The awards gala will air on CBS with streaming on Paramount + with “Entertainment Tonight’s” Nichelle Turner and Kevin Frazier as hosts.

The Daytime Emmy Awards honour programming from 2am to 6pm including talk show, daytime drama, news, and children’s shows.

Along with presenting the awards for the hosts, actors, and writers; long time daytime drama actress Susan Lucci will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences CEO Adam Sharp spoke on the upcoming awards show saying, “we know the loyal fans of daytime television have waited patiently to properly honor and recognize all of the deserving nominees and we look forward to the celebration we have all been waiting for.”
