The Virginia Fold band Carbon Leaf are constantly touring around the United States. Having recently just completing a west coast swing, the band is getting ready to hit the road again; this time on the east coast.
Home for a few days, Jesse noted that while it is a joy to see friends and family again; coming off a tour is a disorienting sensation when you finish a prolonged run; adding that the silence is deafening and the stillness is pure madness in slow-motion. He noted that touring re-wires you, you are in motion 24 hours a day; whether it be heading for the show, loading/unloading, setting up and tearing down, and heading for the next town. And even once the bus is loaded with members and equipment, there is the sounds of the bus as it lulls them to sleep – a perpetual motion.
Some of the upcoming shows are already sold out with other having only a few tickets remaining.
