Over the past few weeks, NASCAR has been teasing fans with tidbits of information about the 2024 season racing schedule.

Well…

The wait is finally over and all is revealed with some new tracks, a return of old favourites, and a break for the Olympics next summer in Paris.

After a record number of non-oval races this year; gone are the road course races at Road America, Indianapolis, and Charlotte.  The street race in Chicago returns to join COTA, Sonoma, and Watkins Glen for the non-oval races.

Gone too, is the dirt race at Bristol!

New next year is a race at Iowa Speedway for the first ever Cup Series race.  Fontana is out…at least while Auto Club Speedway works to reconfigure the track.

Due to the Olympic break, the season is extended by one week and the traditional Southern 500 on Labor Day weekend becomes the final race of the regular season.

After a scorcher of a weekend that brought triple digit temperatures, race at Texas Motor Speedway returns to April where fans, drivers, and crews can enjoy the weekend without the fear of collapsing from heat stroke.

While NASCAR is shaking things up a bit in the playoff rounds; the one constant is that the season kicks off in Daytona each February and will do so again in 2024 on February 18.

But before the drivers hit the high banked tri-oval that is Daytona, the drivers return to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the Busch Light Classic.
