On September 26 the reality dance competition show “Dancing with the Stars” will return for an unprecedented 32nd season.  Last fall the show was only available on Disney +; this year it returns to ABC; as well as, remaining on the Disney+ channel.

The return to ABC is not the only change fans will see this year; with the retirement and subsequent passing of Len Goodman, the judging panel returns to a threesome with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.

Things are sure to get interesting in the Ballroom with the return of the sibling rivalry known as the Houghs.  Tyra Banks has left the show after three seasons and will be replaced by Julianne Hough who will join Alfonso Ribiero as the hosts of the show.  There is also a number of changes among the professional dancing crew with several of the pro dancers have since retired or moved on to other things.  Lindsay Arnold, Witney Carson, and Cheryl Burke have all announced that they were leaving the show.

While the writers and actors are on strike, it isn’t keeping them off the dance floor.  This season features a real estate mogul, a football player, a supermodel, a bachelorette, two singers, and eight actors.
