Race two of the triple header weekend at the “Tricky Triangle” is the Xfinity Series and the Explore the Pocono Mountains 225.

Forty-one drivers have come to Pocono to fill 38 starting spots including Chase Elliott, Daniel Suarez, and Ty Dillon.

The drivers have 20 minutes to master the three unique turns that were all designed after turns from other iconic tracks.

Chase Elliott is driving the Hendrick Motorsports number 17 car this weekend.

Cole Custer is the only driver in the field who has won an Xfinity Series race at Pocono.

At the end of practice, JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier sat atop the leaderboard.

The first driver on the track to make a qualifying run is Dawson Cram who posted a time of 56.018 seconds.

The track is so large that NASCAR is sending out drivers every 15 seconds to have three drivers on the track at one time.

With a time of 54.825 seconds, Ty Dillon is the first driver to break the 55 second mark.

Connor Mosack breaks the 54 second mar with a time of 53.898 seconds to put his number 19 car at the top of the leaderboard.

Beating out Connor Mosack’s time by just seven thousandths of a second, Sheldon Creed put his number two car at the top of the leaderboard with a time of 53.891 seconds.

Josh Berry puts his number eight car at the top of the leaderboard with 53,587 seconds.

With all four of the JR Motorsports drivers starting in the top 10, Josh Berry sits on the pole for his first pole of the season.

Stefan Parsons, Dawson Cram, and Timmy Hill all failed to qualify for the race.

After the pile up on a restart last week, NASCAR issued a stern warning to all of the drivers this week.  No laying back or face a penalty!

Stages one and two are 20 laps each with stage three lasting 50 laps for a total of 90 laps around the two and a half mile track.

Josh Berry brings the field down for the green flag start of the race with Dale Earnhardt Jr broadcasting from the flag stand.  Drivers immediately spread out across the track four and five wide.  Josh Berry leads the pack with Daniel Hemric in second.

Dale Jr reports that the wind coming form the cars is incredible.

Sam Mayer got into the wall on the race start but the track stayed green.

Lap three, the top five are Josh Berry, Daniel Hemric, Sheldon Creed, Connor Mosack, and John Hunter Nemechek.

Josh Berry has a near one second lead on Daniel Hemric.

John Hunter Nemechek and Sammy Smith battle for fifth.

It has been a few years since Pocono applied any of the traction compound, but what is left on the track appears to be operating and offering the drivers more lane options.

Lap seven, Josh Berry has a second and a half lead on Daniel Hemric; Sheldon Creed, Connor Mosack, and Sammy Smith round out the top five.

Lap nine, Sage Karam is already two laps down.

Lap eleven, Josh Berry has increased his lead to nearly two seconds on Daniel Hemric; Sheldon Creed, Sammy Smith, and John Hunter Nemechek round out the top five.

Lap 13, Josh Berry continues to advance his lead and is now two and a half seconds in front of Daniel Hemric.

Sage Kama is on pit road.

Chase Elliott is having difficulty adjusting to the Xfinity car and has not moved up; while Daniel Suarez has moved up six spots.

Lap 15, Josh Berry has a lead of over two seconds on Daniel Hemric; Sheldon Creed, Sammy Smith, and John Hunter Nemechek round out the top five.

Cole Custer reports that his brakes are falling off.

With five laps remaining in stage one, Daniel Hemric is slowly closing in on Josh Berry’s lead which is not under two seconds.

Eighth place driver Justin Allgaier is running some of the fastest laps in the race.

Lap 17, Cole Custer comes down pit road for service and adjustments with a possible brake issue.

Josh Berry wins stage one for his second stage win this season.

Drivers come down pit road for service.  Josh Berry reports that he is a little too tight.  Josh Berry wins the race off of pit road with Daniel Hemric coming out second.  Sheldon Creed had a slow pit stop after getting blocked in his pit box.

After staying out on the track, Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 26 with Josh Berry alongside.  Custer edges out for the lead initially but Berry comes back to battle for the lead.

Going into the tunnel turn, Josh Berry gets out in front for the lead with Brandon Jones taking second. 

Justin Allgaier passes tow cars to take third to make the first three drivers JR Motorsports cars; the fourth JRM car is in ninth.

Jeffrey Earnhardt’s car is smoking and he gets on the access road to make it to pit road with a flat tire.

After restarting the race in the lead, Cole Custer has dropped to fifth place.

Lap 29, the top five are Josh Berry, Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, John Hunter Nemechek, and Cole Custer.

Sage Kama is off the track; Jeffrey Earnhardt is on pit road and returns to the track one lap down.

Lap 30, Josh Berry has a lead of over a second on teammate Justin Allgaier.

Lap 35, Josh Berry’s lead is now just two tenths of a second on Justin Allgaier; Brandon Jones, John Hunter Nemechek, and Sammy Smith round out the top five.

Parker Kligerman brings his number 48 car down pit road for service.

Lap 36, John Hunter Nemechek passes Brandon Jones for third.

Three laps remain in stage two; a few drivers short pit and come down pit road for service.  Josh Berry has a narrow lead on teammate Justin Allgaier; John Hunter Nemechek, Brandon Jones, and Sammy Smith round out the top five.

Lap 58, Josh Berry gets loose but holds on to the lead over Justin Allgaier.

Josh Berry wins stage two for the stage sweep for the first time in his career.

Connor Mosack gets into the wall but the track stays green.

Drivers come down pit road for service with John Hunter Nemechek winning the race off of pit road.  Alex Labbe is listed as the first driver off of pit road but he did not make a stop.

With stage three lasting 50 laps, the drivers will have to make a pit stop during the stage.

A few of the drivers stayed out on the track including Justin Allgaier.

Austin Hill was caught speeding on pit road.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three with Daniel Suarez alongside on lap 46.  Drivers fan out across the track and a wreck insures to bring out the caution flag.  John Hunter Nemechek and Cole Custer wreck causing significant damage to the cars.

Daniel Suarez is listed as the leader with Justin Allgaier in second when the caution came out.

Sam Mayer comes down pit road with some damage to his car.

A few drivers come down pit road for service but with 40 laps remaining in the race, the drivers may not be able to finish the race without making another pit stop.

After winning the last two races, John Hunter Nemechek had a 33 point lead in the point standings.  His Pocono wreck will definitely affect the current point standings.

Parker Kligerman is having shifter issues.

Daniel Suarez brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 50 with Justin Allgaier in second; Josh Berry, Ryan Sieg, and Sheldon Creed round out the top five.

Lap 55, Justin Allgaier makes his pit stop.

Josh Berry is nearly four seconds in front of Chase Elliott; Sheldon Creed, Parker Kligerman, and Ryan Sieg round out the top five.

Lap 60, Parker Kligerman makes his pit stop but takes fuel only.

The top five are Josh Berry, Chase Elliott, Sheldon Creed, Ryan Sieg, and Brandon Jones.

There are 34 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 62, leader Josh Berry comes down pit road to make his pit stop and gives the lead over to Chase Elliott.

Justin Allgaier’s crew reports that they missed on the fuel and he is a little short of making it to the end of the race.  The crew tells Allgaier to save a little fuel.

Lap 65, Chase Elliott leads the race with Brandon Jones in second; Ryan Sieg, Ty Dillon, and Riley Herbst round out the top five.

Lap 69, Chase Elliott has a lead of five and a half seconds on Brandon Jones; Ryan Sieg, Ty Dillon, and Riley Herbst round out the top five.

Back in 13th place after making his pit stop, Josh Berry is running the fastest laps on the track.

Kaz Grala got turned sideways but saved the car and the track stays green.

Lap 71, Chase Elliott makes his pit stop and gives the lead over to Brandon Jones.

With 16 laps remaining in the race, Brandon Joens has a nine second lead on Ty Dillon; Ryan Sieg, Riley Herbst, and Sam Mayer round out the top five.

IN an effort to catch and pass his teammate Josh Berry, Justin Allgaier bumps against the wall but the track stays green.

Riley Herbst is in fuel conservation mode with reports that he is a lap short of making it to the end.

Ryan Sieg makes his green flag pit stop.

The top five drivers are short on fuel and may not be able to make it to the end of the race.

Ty Dillon gives up third to come down pit road for a splash of fuel.

Joey Gase spins out with eleven laps to go and brings out the caution flag.  There is some damage to Justin Allgaier’s car after making contact with Gase.

Several of the drivers that are close on fuel are not coming down pit road but are in fuel conservation mode; but several cars come down pit road for service.

With just six laps remaining in the race, Riley Herbst brings the field down for the green flag restart and goes side by side with Austin Hill before Hill gets out in front.

Josh Berry comes upto battle with Austin Hill and takes the lead.

The top five are Josh Berry, Austin Hill, Riley Herbst, Sam Mayer, and Chase Elliott.

The caution flag comes after Connor Mosack gets into the wall.  There are just four laps remaining in the race.

The race goes into overtime.

Josh Berry brings the field down for the overtime shootout for the win with some of the drivers near the front very short on fuel.  Josh Berry gets out in front after a push from Austin Hill.  Drivers are two and three wide.

Austin Hill passes Josh Berry for the lead.

Austin Hill takes the white flag.  There is some debris on the track.

Josh Berry and Austin Hill battle for the lead but he gets high and into the wall bringing out the caution flag.

Austin Hill wins the race for his fourth win of the season.  He even had enough fuel to do a burnout.
