This past weekend the three NASCAR series had a triple header weekend in two different tracks – World Wide Technology Raceway and Portland International Raceway.  All three races went into overtime with two repeat winners and one first time winner.

In the Cup Series, the 36 drivers waded through a lightening delay and three red flags before pole sitter Kyle Busch notched win number three for Richard Childress Racing.  It was Busch’s 63rd Cup Series win.

While Kyle Busch and William Byron have each won three races this season, last week’s Coca-Cola 600 winner Ryan Blaney leads the point standings with 495 with Ryan Blaney leading in the playoff standings with 2,027 points.

Kyle Busch’s win made it a total of nine wins for Chevrolet this season and 567 points.
