British pop start Adele was scheduled to end her Las Vegas residency on March 25 as she prepared to take some time off for back surgery.

But after overwhelming results and sold out concerts, Adele has re-signed to continue her shows at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.  “Weekends with Adele” will resume in June.

Already busy with kids, a television talk show, and coaching on “The Voice”; Kelly Clarkson is a very busy lady but is about to get even busier when she joins the plethora of artists in Las Vegas at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for a residency of her own.  Clarkson’s long time band will be joining her on the Bakkt stage in a show that has been specifically designed for the theater and spans her career that began back with the winning of season one on “American Idol”.

Clarkson spoke on her upcoming residency saying, “I am so excited for these shows and couldn’t think of a better place to get back on stage than Las Vegas! The crowds in Vegas are such an amazing collection of people that simply want to have a great time and that’s what we’re going to do.  So many of my musical idols have had, and still have, incredible residencies on The Strip, and I’m so excited to create my own!”
