Drivers are getting three wide across the track.

Tyler Ankrum takes the lead with Colby Howard in second; Stewart Friesen, Parker Kligerman, and Chase Purdy round out the top five.

Clay Greenfield gets loose and brings out the caution flag on lap 29 for a crash.  Daniel Dye, Hailie Deegan, Dean Thompson, Tanner Gray, Bret Holmes, and Matt DiBenedetto were also involved.

NASCAR has red flagged the race to get the track cleaned up.

The rain has returned to the track.

NASCAR is bringing the trucks to pit road and re-evaluate the situation as track cleanup continues.

Drivers who were involved in the crash will be under the “crash clock” once the race resumes and they come down pit road.  Crews will have six minutes to make any repairs on pit road and get the truck back to at least minimum speed.  If the crews cannot make sufficient repairs in the allotted six minutes, the truck will be out of the race.

After a red flag condition of about 15 minutes, NASCAR has pulled the red flag and displayed the yellow as the trucks get moving once again.

Clay Greenfield and Hailie Deegan have been checked and released from the infield care center.  Both drivers are fine but out of the race.

Tyler Ankrum brings the field down for the green flag restart with just five laps remaining in stage two with Colby Howard alongside.  Tyler Ankrum gets out in front for the lead with Chase Purdy in second after Purdy had to start the race from the back of the field for making unapproved adjustments.

Lap 37, the top five are Tyler Ankrum, Colby Howard, Chase Purdy, Stewart Friesen, and Parker Kligerman.

Lap 38, Colby Howard takes the lead as the trucks get three wide across the track.

Tyler Ankrum, Stewart Friesen, and Parker Kligerman make it a threw wide battle for the lead with Friesen getting out in front.

Tyler Ankrum retakes the lead.

Stewart Friesen gets into the wall for a last lap crash to bring out the caution to end stage two.  Tyler Ankrum wins stage two.

Drivers come down pit road for service.  Ty Majeski was charged with a crew member coming over the wall too soon.

Stewart Friesen and Ben Rhodes were in a crash after being pushed from behind.  Colby Howard, Bret Holmes, Parker Kligerman, and Codie Rohrbaugh were also involved in the melee.

After staying out on the track Corey LaJoie leads the race and once the rain stops will bring the field down for the green flag start of stage three.  The green flag waves on lap 48 with Corey Lajoie  in the lead.  Zane Smith passes to take the lead with Matt DiBenedetto in second.  Tyler Ankrum comes up to retake the lead.  Christian Eckes takes the lead.

Lap 49, Christian Eckes leads the race with Corey LaJoie in second; Tyler Ankrum, Corey Heim, and Chase Elliott round out the top five.

Lap 50, Corey LaJoie is the new leader with Tyler Ankrum in second; Corey Heim, Zane Smith, and Matt DiBenedetto round out the top five.

Parker Kligerman is out of the race after the crash.

Lap 51, Zane Smith battles with Corey LaJoie for the lead with LaJoie taking the lead.

There are 29 trucks on the lead lap with six trucks out of the race and one truck in the pits.

Lap 52, Corey LaJoie and Zane Smith continue to battle for the lead.

Lap 52, the top five are Zane Smith, Corey LaJoie, Christian Eckes, Chase Elliott, and Tyler Ankrum.

Lap 53, Corey LaJoie has the lead with Zane Smith in second; Tyler Ankrum, Christian Eckes, and Corey Heim round out the top five.

Lap 54, Corey LaJoie leads the race with Zane Smith in second; Christian Eckes, Tyler Ankrum, and Corey Heim round out the top five.

Lap 56, Corey LaJoie leads the race with Christian Eckes in second; Tyler Ankrum, Corey Heim, and Matt DiBenedetto round out the top five.

Raja Caruth gets loose in the middle and brings out the caution flag on lap 59.  Matt DiBenedetto, Grant Enfinger, Ty Majeski, and Daniel Dye were also involved in the crash.  Rajah Caruth takes his truck behind the wall.  Caruth said that he panicked a bit and takes responsibility for the wreck.

Some of the drivers come down pit road for service.

Leader Corey LaJoie stays out on the track but notes that it was a miscommunication issue is the reason…but, more rain is on the way…

Matt Crafton has been driving for 20 years; this is his 522nd consecutive race with Menard’s as his sponsor.

Corey LaJoie brings the field down for the green flag restart with Tyler Ankrum alongside with 36 laps remaining in the race.  Corey LaJoie gets out in front for th lead with Tyler Ankrum and Zane Smith making it a three wide battle for the lead.  Zane Smith is the new leader with 35 laps to go.

The top five re Zane Smith, Tanner Gray, Colby Howard, Tyler Ankrum, and Christian Eckes.  Corey LaJoie drops to 13th after getting caught in the middle.

Lap 66, Zane Smith has the lead with Tanner Gray in second; Colby Howard, Christian Eckes, and Ty Majeski round out the top five.

Rajah Caruth and Daniel Dye are out of the infield car center and are fine.

The seventh caution flag of the race comes out on lap 67 for rain with the reigning Truck Series champion  Zane Smith in the lead.

The top five are Zane Smith, Tanner Gray, Christian Eckes, Colby Howard, ad Grant Enfinger.

Zane Smith’s championship truck team will also be crewing his car for the Daytona 500.

With 27 laps remaining in the race, NASCAR brings the field down pit road for the second red flag of the night as the rain increases in its intensity.  Crews come out to cover the trucks.  The rain is the result of a “cold front” moving in.

The track drying has begun in hopes of getting the track back in racing condition.

As track drying efforts continue, NASCAR has told the drivers to stays close to their trucks after nearly an hour red flag for rain.

At 10:40;m EST the drivers has been called to their trucks to prepare for completing the race.

At 10:50pm the engines re-fire and the drivers are moving again.  The track dryers are working on pit road as the drivers ride around the track.  And the misting rain has returned…

Nick Sanchez is on pit road and the crew is working on the truck.

After the drivers made five laps around the track, NASCAR is bringing the trucks back down pit road and throwing thethird red flag of the night.

At 11:12pm NASCAR has called the race and Zane Smith becomes the second driver to go back to back with Daytona Truck Series wins.  Todd Bodine was the only other driver to win back to back at Daytona.
