Former child star Adam Rich died January, 7, 2023 in his Los Angeles home at the age of 54.  The Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner Coroner’s office did not give a cause of death, saying that it was under investigation; however, did not believe that the death was of a suspicious nature.

While best known for his role as the youngest child Nicholas Bradford in the television drama “Eight is Enough”, Rich made his television debut in 1976 in a Christmas episode of “The Six Million Dollar Man” that was a parody of “A Christmas Carol”.

Rich only appeared in a couple of dozen productions including the TV Movie “The City”, “The Love Boat”, “The Devil and Max Devlin”, the original “Fantasy Island”, “CHiPs”, “Code Red”, the voice of Presto the Magician in “Dungeons & Dragons”, “St. Elsewhere”, “Baywatch”, and his final appearance in 2003 in “Reel Country”.

Rich once noted that he loved being an actor and acting, but he didn’t like being a celebrity.

But he also had his share of legal and mental health issues.  He was diagnosed with a form of depression that defied treatment.

He was born October 12, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York.

NO list of survivors was given.
