During the Country Music Association Awards on November 9, Country music veteran Jo Dee Messina took the stage to duel “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” with Cole Swindell.
The song was inspired by Messina’s 1996 debut hit single “Heads Carolina, Tales California”. He surprised the packed Bridgestone Arena by bringing Messina on stage for the performance.
Since her 1996 debut, Messina has earned nine number one hits and has seen her songs reach the top 40 16 times.
Over the next several months, Messina has a list of concerts planned beginning next month.
