Only three more weeks remain in the 2022 NASCAR season and as the weeks count down, the aggression amps up with tempers flaring and fuses short.

During the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, Ryan Blaney extended his lead in stage point wins to eight to top the list of Cup drivers with stage wins this season; but it is Chase Elliott who holds on to the stage points lead with 266 just four points ahead of Joey Logano despite a bad day on the track and a 21st place finish.

There was a bit of a shake up in the Playoff Standings after Joey Logano became the first driver to secure a spot in the final four.

It was also the first race in the round of eight for the Xfinity Series with the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Loas Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday.  The JR Motorsports drivers continued to give a strong showing with Noah Gragson winning another stage for his 17th of the season and Josh Berry becomes the first driver in the final for the the Xfinity Series.
