The Camping World Truck Series kicks off a triple header weekend and a doubleheader day from Talladega Superspeedway as the playoffs continue for all three series with the Chevy Silverado 250.
This is the second race in round two of the playoffs for the Truck Series. After winning the first race in the round at Bristol Motor Speedway, Ty Majeski has secured himself a spot in the final four at Phoenix.
After a stage one crash at Bristol, Josh Reaume was taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with a cpncussion.
Forty teams brought trucks to the track to fill 36 starting spots. Natalie Decker, Spencer Boyd, Jason M. White, and Timothy Viens failed to qualify for the race.

Stages one and two of the race are just 20 laps each with stage three lasting 54 laps for a total of 94 laps around the 2.66 mile high banked track. Drivers can run 30 to 35 laps on a single load of fuel and will have to make a pit stop during stage three.
Only three of the drivers in the field have won a race at Talladega; Parker Kligerman has done it twice.
John Hunter Nemechek brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the outside lane with teammate Chandler Smith alongside and jump out in front to take the lead.
Lap one, the drivers are already spreading out across the track.
Lap two, John Hunter Nemechek leads the race with Chandler Smith in second; Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith, and Ty Majeski round out the top five.
Lap three, the drivers have already begun pushing each other. Zane Smith battles with John Hunter Nemechek for the lead.
Lap four, John Hunter Nemechek has the lead with Zane Smith in second; Ty Majeski, Chandler Smith, and Carson Hocevar round out the top five.
Zane Smith leads the race and is in a battle with Ty Majeski for the lead.
Getting a push from John Hunter Nemechek, Zane Smith has the lead.
Lap six, John Hunter Nemechek comes up on the outside to take the lead. Zane Smith comes up on the inside to take the lead briefly before John Hunter Nemechek retakes the lead.
Lap seven John Hunter Nemechek leads the race with Zane Smith in second; Chandler Smith, Carson Hocevar, and Colby Howard round out the top five.
Lap 10, Josh Hunter Nemechek leads the race with Zane Smith in second; Carson Hocevar, Matt Crafton, and Jordan Ander round out the top five in single file.
Drivers are running 190mph in the draft; some two miles per hour faster than qualifying times.
Lap 12, John Hunter Nemechek continues to lead the race with Chandler and Zane Smith battling for second; Carson Hocevar and Colby Howard round out the top five.
Lap 13, the top five are John Hunter Nemechek, Zane Smith, Chandler Smith Carson Hocevar, and Colby Howard.
Safe with a spot in the final four, Ty Majeski has dropped back in the field to 26th place.
With just four laps remaining in stage one, John Hunter Nemechek has just a tenth of a second lead on Zane Smith; Carson Hocevar, Jordan Anderson, and Tanner Gray round out the top five.
The caution flag comes out on lap 19 for Jordan Anderson flaming truck. He hits the wall and quickly jumps out of the truck on the wall. Anderson is being attended to on the track while safety workers put out the flames. Safety crews takes Anderson to the care center via ambulance.
Stage one ends under caution with John Hunter Nemechek winning the stage.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Chandler Smith winning the race off of pit road. Many of the drivers took fuel only.
Reports from the infield care center, Jordan Anderson suffered some burns from the fire and is in a lot of pain. He is being airlifted to the hospital in Birmingham.
Chandler Smith brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two from the outside lane with John Hunter Nemechek on the inside on lap 27.
Getting a push from Ben Rhodes, Chandler Smith gets out in front for the lead and down to the inside lane but gets in a battle for the lead from Ben Rhodes.
Colby Howard brings out the caution flag with a flat tire; leaving part of the tire carcass on the track as he spins out.
The top seven drivers are playoff drivers with Ty Majeski in eleventh.
Chandler Smith brings the field down for the green flag restart as the helicopter prepares to lift off and take Jordan Anderson to the hospital on lap 31 from the inside lane and battle with Ben Rhodes for the lead. John Hunter Nemechek pushes Chandler Smith to the lead.
Lap 33, the top five are Chandler Smith, Ben Rhodes, Christian Eckes, John Hunter Nemechek, and Stewart Friesen.
Lawless Alan bring out the caution flag on lap 34 when he gets into the wall with a blown tire, resulting in heavy damage to Alan’ truck. Bryan Dauzat is also involved. Over the radio Alan told his team “that hurt”.
Several drivers come down pit road for service before the end of stage two. There is a piece of debris embedded into the grille of Carson Hocevar’s truck. The crew is working to get it out.
Chandler Smith brings the field down for the green flag restart with just two laps remaining in stage two. Smith nd Ben Rhodes battle for the lead with the two swapping the lead back and forth before Chandler Smith edges out for the lead after a push from John Hunter Nemechek and win stage two for a Kyle Busch Motorsports stage sweep.

Drivers come down pit road for service with many taking fuel only. Ryan Preece wins the race off of pit road.
Zane Smith has a damaged truck after getting a flat tire.
After winning stage two, Chandler Smith makes a second trip down pit road for service. He has a little damage to the back of his truck after all the bumping from teammate John Hunter Nemechek.
Chase Purdy brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three but it is Bret Holmes who gets out in front. The top five are Bret Holmes, Matt MiDenedetto, Chase Purdy, Johnny Sauter, and Derek Krasu.
After starting back in the field, the playoff drivers are beginning to move forward with Grant Enfinger and Christian Eckes in the top 10
Lap 48, Alabama native Bret Holmes leads the race with Matt DiBenedetto on his bumper; Chase Purdy, Johnny Sauter, and Christian Eckes rounding out the top five.
Lap 49, now in third place, Christian Eckes is the only playoff driver in the top 10.
Lap 50, Chase Purdy is the new leader with Christian Eckes in second. Drivers are getting three and four wide across the track.
The top five are Chase Purdy, Christian Eckes, Bret Holmes, Carson Hocevar, and Ryan Preece.
Lap 51, Christian Eckes takes the lead and enters a battle for the lead with Chase Purdy.
Lap 52, Grant Enfinger enters the top 10.
Lap 53, Bret Holmes takes the lead with Chase Purdy in second; Matt DiBenedetto, Christian Eckes, and Johnny Sauter round out the top five.
John Hunter Nemechek is back in 26th and reports that he doesn’t feel good back there and wants to get moving.
Lap 54, in a three way battle for the lead, Bret Holmes takes the lead with Matt DiBenedetto in second; Christian Eckes, Johnny Sauter, and Carson Hocevar round out the top five.
Lap 56, Christian Eckes is the new leader with Carson Hocevar taking second; Ryan Preece, Chase Purdy, and Bret Holmes round out the top five.
Lap 57, Carson Hocevar takes the lead with Bret Holmes in second.
Lap 58, the top five are Carson Hocevar, Matt DiBenedetto, Christian Eckes, Ryan Preece, and Johnny Sauter.
All 32 of the trucks on the track are on the lead lap with Lawless Alan, Dean Thompson, Bryan Dauzat, and Jordan Anderson out of the race.
Lap 59, Christian Eckes is the leader with Carson Hocevar in second; Matt DiBenedetto, Ryan Preece, and Johnny Sauter rounding out the top five.
With 34 laps remaining in the race, the playoff drivers are scattered through the field with Christian Eckes leading the race and Grant Enfinger in sixth the only playoff drivers in the top 10.
Drivers are now within their fuel window to make it to the end of the race on one more pit stop.
Lap 62, drivers have gotten single file.
John Hunter Nemechek is the first driver to make a green flag pit stop to begin the cycle of green flag pit stops.
Lap 63, a big gaggle of drivers make their pit stops with Derek Kraus the lead leader.
The caution flag comes out on lap 64 after a tire form Hailie Deegan’s team running to retrieve an errant tire that had rolled onto the tri-oval. Deegan hit her tire changer, sending the tire flying with a gaggle of drivers trying to get on pit road for service. All of the drivers avoided the tire.
John Hunter Nemechek made a pit stop all by himself; his crew chief was very angry because he said they had all agreed for the Toyotas to pit together and failed to come down pit road.
The remainder of the drivers who have yet to make a pit stop come down pit road for service under caution.
Stewart Friesen was charged with speeding on pit road. Johnny Sauter and Matt DiBenedetto were also caught speeding on pit road.
NO crew member is allowed to be on pit road outside of the pit box. While drivers were coming on pit road, one of the crew members form Hailie Deegan’s team ran out to retrieve the tire. NASCAR has ejected him from the track and he is being escorted out of the track.
NASCAR issues an update for Jordan Anderson that simply says he is at the hospital, awake and alert.
Christian Eckes is the race leader and brings the field down for the green flag restart with 26 laps remaining in the race. From the inside lane, Carson Hocevar takes the lead with Grant Enfinger in second; Colby Howard, Christian Eckes, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five.
Fox Sports reports that since the beginning of the playoffs, no playoff driver has won a race at Talladega.
Christian Eckes takes the lead and puts a little distance between himself and the rest of the field.
Just 23 laps to go, Carson Hocevar leads the race and battles with Christian Eckes for the lead.
Christian Eckes takes the lead with Ben Rhodes in second; Carson Hocevar, Grant Enfinger, and Colby Howard round out the top five.
The sixth caution flag of the race comes out with 22 laps to go after Colby Howard spins out with a flat tire. Howard was the fourth truck on the inside lane when he spun out. He kept the truck off the wall and didn’t hit anyone else.
Leaders stay out on the track but Chandler Smith and Zane Smith come down pit road for service on their damaged trucks.
Carson Hocevar brings the field down for the green flag restart from the inside lane but Christian Eckes on the outside takes the lead with 18 laps remaining in the race

Christian Eckes and Carson Hocevar continue to battle for the lead; Ben Rhodes, Ryan Preece, and Corey Heim round out the top five.
A bulk of the eight playoff drivers remain back in the field with only Christian Eckes, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger the only playoff drivers in the top 10.
Big crash brings out the seventh caution flag of the race with 15 laps to go. Austin Wayne Self, Tanner Gray, Grant Enfinger, and Johnny Sauter were all involved in a chain reaction incident. There is significant damage to Enfinger’s truck and the crew is working hard to make repairs. While the “crash clock” has been increased to 10 minutes for the Cup Series; it remains just six minutes for the Truck and Xfinity Series. Tanner Gray is out of the race.
Currently 23 points above the cut line, Chandler Smith reports that he is content with where he is to try and avoid any big wrecks.
Carson Hocevar brings the field down for the green flag restart with just 10 laps remaining in the race from the inside lane with Christian Eckes on the outside. Carson Hocevar edges out in front for the lead but getting some help with a push, Christian Eckes comes up to battle for the lead; Ben Rhodes, Ryan Preece, and Bret Holmes round out the top five
One lap down, Grant Enfinger has cleared the “crash clock” and is making at least minimum speed to continue in the race.
Eight to go, the battle for the lead continues between Carson Hocevar and Christian Eckes.
Seven to go, drivers are beginning to “take a peek” in preparation to make their moves forward.
Six to go, Christian Eckes leads the race as pushing continues.
Carson Hocevar is below the double yellow line and slowed on the track with a flat tire. Bret Holmes is the new leader. Hocevar is stopped on the track and brings out the caution flag with five to go. He gets moving again.
NASCAR is holding Carson Hocevar for what they feel was an intentional attempt to bring out the caution when he stopped on the track and then got moving again after the caution flag came out.
The race goes into overtime with Christian Eckes leading the race.
Christian Eckes brings the field down for the two lap overtime shootout to the end from the inside lane and gets out in front for the lead after a push from Matt DiBenedetto.
Bret Holmes gives Ben Rhodes a big push to the lead.

Christian Eckes is the lead but Ben Rhodes takes the lead. Trucks wrecking as the leaders come to the finish line. Alabama native Bret Holmes appears to win the race by two thousandths of a second on Matt DiBenedetto.
The caution flag came out for several wrecks before the checkered flag. Once the lights for caution come out, the race is over and NASCAR is working to determine who official winner.
