The last race of the regular season in the NASCAR Cup Series is finally over after a 14 hour start delay and a red flag of over three hours, both weather related.

Austin Dillion survived the massive 17 car pile up to become the 16th different race winner of the season, but with the withdrawal of Kurt Busch who still hasn’t been medically cleared after a head injury, one spot remained in the playoffs for a driver to make into the playoffs on points…and he did by just three points!

Now that the field has been set, the points will be adjusted next week at Darlington Raceway as the playoffs begin.
