A typical concert tour features lots of hit songs, some oldies but goodies, and maybe a new song or two. Occasionally a band will feature the songs from an entire album to mark an anniversary. But The Controtionist will be playing two of their albums – “Language” and “Exoplanet” – in full on their upcoming tour this fall.
Opening act Rivers of Nihil will also be performing an album in its entirety – their latest album “The Work” – on the tour.
Contortionist member Cameron Maynard noted that it has been over two years since the band has played before a live audience and are ready to celebrate the return to the stage.
