Over the weekend all three NASCAR series ran races in two different cities with two of those races being run for the first time.

With the inaugural running of the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, one more driver has earned a playoff point with a stage win when Austin Cindric won stage one of the race.

With the addition of Austin Cindric, there are now a total of 16 drivers who have won at least one stage of a race.  Ryan Blaney still leads the list with four stage wins but Chase Elliott leads the list with 136 points and three stage wins.

In the point standings, Chase Elliott also leads the list with 507 points.  After 15 of the 26 regular season races in the books, eleven drivers have won at least one race.  While the philosophy of “win and you are in”, three of the drivers with a race win are currently below the “cut line” for the 16 driver playoffs.
