This past weekend the NASCAR Cup Series ran the longest race of the season and gave the drivers three opportunities to earn stage points. Chase Elliott, Daniel Suarez, and Ross Chastain all won a stage during the race earning 10 points each plus a playoff point.
With his stage win, Chase Elliott has increased his point lead with 134 points; 14 over William Byron. While Elliott has earned the most stage points so far this season, Ryan Blaney still holds the record for the most stage wins with four. Chase Elliott, William Byron, Ross Chastain, and Martin Truex Jr have each won three stages this season.

Austin Cindric opened the season with a win in the Daytona 500 but is currently ranked 19th in the playoff standings. Kurt Busch is right behind Cindric in 20th even after winning a race.
